IMPORTANT OF ICT IN ELETRICAL ENGINEERING STUDIES AND PRACTICE

IMPORTANT OF ICT IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDIES AND PRACTICE

Information and communication technology deals with the transmission, communication and processing of message (information) using wireless or land line technology. Key branches include digital signal processing, electrical and optical communication technology, higher frequency engineering and communication network. Due to the great significance of digital communications technology (digital engineering), the use of computer and programmable processes plays a predominant role in the field of electrical engineering

Today in the global world, ICT application is one of the most important part of electrical engineering studies and practice and it is always use by people every time. Engineering education can't be work without ICT application. Engineers can learn best by being shown how to apply the fundamental of physics to actual machines and process that they can feel and visualize. Mathematics, physics, computer, software packages and instrumentations then become useful integration tools in analyzing or designing electrical configuration or installation process.

There are many applications of ICT in electrical engineering such as AutoCAD for accurate measurement in drawing, CAM, CNC and etc. Student must have proficiency in materials and manufacturing processes; understanding the behavior and properties of materials as they are altered and influenced by processing in manufacturing; understanding the design of products and the equipment; tooling, assembly and environment necessary for their manufacture; manufacturing competitiveness.

Understanding the creation of completive advantage through manufacturing planning, strategy, and control; manufacturing system design; understanding the analysis, synthesis, and control of manufacturing operations using statistical and calculus based method, simulation and information technology; laboratory experience. Student must be able to measure manufacturing process variable in a manufacturing laboratory and make technical inferences about the process.
